More makeovers to smile about
Â
This young man came in with his new wife who had been treated by my father for many years. He was sort of shy and his wife did most of the talking.
She told me that he had lost a tooth some years ago and he was conscious of the discoloured fillings too. The teeth had begun to drift together, so gaps had appeared between the teeth. He was rather scared of dentists and had a problem of wanting to throw up easily.
We talked about all his treatment options, a denture or a bridge to add in the missing tooth, and fillings for the smaller gaps.
He opted for a denture to fill in the missing tooth and I promised the newly weds that I would do a complete makeover to close the gaps and re-do the old fillings too, so the end result would be a smile they would both love.
They came in again once the denture was ready. Then it was time for me to do my stuff with the magic wand to make all his natural teeth look good too. They needed some fillings to close the gaps and bring forward the hidden tooth and soften his sharp canine.

The second part just took half an hour. It was so much fun to see him smile even wider when he looked in the mirror when the whole new look was complete!Â
What do you think of the results?
Another makeover to smile about, don’t you think? Both the newly weds were really pleased.
