ActionCOACH Awards Night 2009

This year I was invited to take part in the ActionCoach Awards by my Action Coach, Jeevan Sahadevan. He had been coaching me on building Klinik Pergigian Fauziah to be a World Class Organisation since April 2006.

Jeevan gave me the form to fill and said he wanted me to compete in the category for Synergy and the category for Action’s Business Of the Year 2009. The Synergy Award was for the business that ‘worked like a well-oiled machine’ and the Business Of the Year was for ‘a commercial profitable enterprise that works without you!’.

It took me two weeks to fill the form, working on it in the evenings. I had an amazing time looking at Klinik Pergigian Fauziah as an organisation: it’s Mission, Vision and Culture, it’s Marketing objectives and how we are unique, the clinic’s Team as in how we develope the staff in leadership and their training as well as how satisfied they were, our Goals and the results we have achieved. Lastly, I wrote about our contribution to the community and our goals for further contribution to others.

Filling in the form was journey for me. I began to see who we are as Klinik Pergigian Fauziah and how we are truly a Team that is up to contributing to others whilst being a professional, commercial enterprise.

My Team, all of us, are celebrating our successes for 2009 by going on holiday together for 4 days in May to Bandung, Indonesia, a fully paid holiday courtesy of Klinik Pergigian Fauziah! This is the first time for most of the staff …. the first time that they will be packing their bags to get on a plane and leave the country for a well deserved holiday!

Last night we won ActionCoach Synergy Award for 2009. Yes, we are a well-oiled machine. Klinik Pergigian Fauziah’s successes is because of the sum total of the efforts of the Team and I am proud of them all!

We didn’t win the Business of the Year Award for 2009, but that’s OK …. we’re going to win it this year I am confident of that!! Jeevan …. let’s rock n roll!!
