Emi’s celebrity smile: Dr Nik

Emi is a mother of three kids and a very busy housewife. She manages the kids alone as her husband is currently working in Jakarta. She was referred to me by her sister Nazlina who is also my patient.

As soon as she was comfortably seated on the dental chair, she told me that she wanted to do whitening and cosmetic fillings to close the gaps in between her teeth and even out the teeth..

“Sure…I can do that for you, but first I need to check the overall condition of your teeth because before we start on whitening procedure the most important thing to do is to make sure that all cavities are filled up”

….and lucky for her she has a very healthy set of teeth and I only need to do normal scaling and a few small fillings to cover up the worn root surfaces. As we were running out of time, we set up another appointment for her to do her whitening and cosmetic fillings.

As requested by Emi, we planned to do the whitening first before she flew out to Jakarta to see her husband and cosmetic fillings was scheduled once she came back from Jakarta.

The whitening procedure took us one and a half hour and the result was very good. Emi was very happy that now she has white dazzling smile and I can’t wait to do her cosmetic and see the overall result….and I guessed Emi can’t too…

Today, as scheduled Emi came in for her cosmetic fillings and I worked on her as soon as she was seated on the dental chair.

And the result…..white dazzling celebrity smile…Don’t you think so?

And I’m very happy that I can create that smile and grateful that with the advance technologies in dentistry there are so many things that can be done to create beautiful smile and preserve the teeth.

And for Emi, I can tell that she was very happy with her new smile because she can’t stop looking into the mirror smiling and appreciating her new smile. Before she went off we scheduled her another appointment. This time  it is for her 6 month regular dental check up.
