The New Branch is in Publika! : Dr Fauziah
It’s been a busy few months. I’ve always wanted to start a new clinic in 2014 as it was time …. Dr Kayethri is doing great in the Menara Raja Laut branch and is ably partnered by Dr Mawarni. It was time for me to move on and start a brand new clinic in my favourite hang-out spot … Publika in Solaris Dutamas.
I finally, after many hit and misses, signed the tenancy agreement in January. Then came all the red tape and planning, I had to get the building plans approved by the Ministry of Health, something which involved several visits to the different departments of the Ministry. After that was getting more approvals from Publika’s Building Management, DBKL, transfering Tenaga accounts, etc etc. and that’s not including ordering the dental chairs from Germany.
Yes, this clinic has to have the best … Sirona dental chairs and x-ray facilities, Straumann and Osstem Implant systems, ARC Lasers, Zoom! Whitening facilities, ClearPath Orthodontics … basically all the cutting-edge procedures and services our patients have now become accustomed to.
The renovations took nearly two months and at long last everything was completed last week, just in time for my birthday 😉 It was a sweet birthday present indeed. I was totally surprised when Idayu, Damalis and Ayu, my wonderful staff, surprised me with a birthday cake on the last night as we wiped everything down before the doors opened for the first patient on Monday.
We decorated the clinic with my art pieces … yes, the paintings hanging in the clinic I painted over the last few months … It was so nice to finally hang them and give them a permanent home after stacking them in a corner.
The first few days had my regular patients come in. Some had difficulty finding the clinic as Publika has a weird system for their lifts. Damalis was on hand (she does a great job!) to give directions to patients … but they all LOVE the new clinic and the fact that there was ample places to explore before and after their dental appointment.

I gave a five star review when I commented on Dr Fauziah’s service s. When I reviewed what had already been published, I noticed it was 4 1/2 stars.
Maybe I made a mistake . I want to say that I gave her services and her clinic 5 stars. I would have given seven stars but that was not asked for.
