Why I joined Klinik Pergigian Fauziah aka KPF – Dr Aaron Lai

A little about me, I was born in KL and raised in Petaling Jaya by my nanny. Of course, when I was young I never dreamt of becoming a dentist because of my background. Being the first-born dentist in my family is not easy! If I could speak to my 13 year-old self right now, I would thank him for being a prudent and determined learner as I wasn’t a bright student back then, I was placed in the second last class of the form when I entered secondary school, due to my poor performance early on, but I persevered and went all out, never looking back. The rest was history.

-KPF Publika is a major workforce clinic in the industry, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as 3D X-Ray/CBCT which offers invaluable information when it comes to diagnosis and planning for patients, which can accurately identify the position of the tooth. At KPF, we use premium materials to treat our patients at an affordable price. Hence, patients never think twice about coming back to KPF after their initial experience.

-Conducive environment with artistic art all around the clinic which certainly help to calm my patients down! If you didn’t see the Clinic sign board outside you will think this is an art gallery!

-The team behind KPF, a superb supporting team with a culture that empowers each other, we constantly support each other to win our life goals. At KPF, we have our bi-weekly meetings to brainstorm ideas to give our patients their best experiences ever. The meetings engage everyone including the dental surgery assistants on how we can contribute as a team to our end goals. I personally feel a post-mortem meeting is important if we want to deliver better services to our customers.

-Work Life Balance culture that KPF stresses on! Being a dentist definitely had some shit load of stress (Oops, pardon my French!). We work from 10am-5pm on weekdays and Saturdays from 9:30am to 2pm. Being able to focus on things that matter outside of work definitely helps in finding a balanced life. You wouldn’t want to be treated by a grumpy dentist who is broken internally right?

-At KPF , we aim on building a long-term relationship with our patients, we don’t just treat your teeth but your soul as a human being.
