More Than Just A Dentist : Dr Dini
There is a truth in this quote. As a dentist,I feel that our responsibility is not only to take care of dental problems. We also need to take care of their emotional needs as well.
In Fauziah Dental Clinic, we received all sort of patients, requesting all sort of treatments. Beside treating ‘normal’ patient, we also cater treatment to special need patients such as Autistic and Down Syndrome. We also had patients that trusted us to provide them dental treatment for the first time in several years and in some cases, decades! These patients were concerned that they would not be able to tolerate treatment because they were afraid.
We make it a point to allow sufficient time to not only treat the patients physical needs, but also their emotional needs as well. It seems that much of the anxiety that patient feels stem from the fact that we don’t take enough time to address their psychological need prior to and during treatment.
All our associates dental surgeon will take time to understand the patient’s concerns and present them with a plan to address their issues prior to starting treatment. This empowers the patient to have a sense of control during their treatment. As a result, our patients always feel at ease with us and keep coming back to see us.
Sometimes, it can be the little things that make the difference to a patient. It feels good to fix teeth and creating their dream smile, but it feels better to mend spirit and get people smiling again.
A picture is worth a thousand words. A testimonial could do the same too. Here are some of the testimonials from our patient. It’s true that the best feeling of happiness is when you are happy because you’ve made somebody else happy.
Believe me when I say this, after receiving and reading the testimonial from our patients, made us dentist want to work harder and better in rendering our service. To quote Steve Jobs: Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what we do.
Love,
Dr. Dini (dini@story.drfauziah.com)
