I Want Veneers – Dr. Adyan

This shy patient of mine knew exactly what he wanted.

As soon as he sat on the dental chair in my room, he said “I want veneers.”

When he started talking, I could already see why he insisted on having veneers.

The two upper front teeth were ground down making it appeared short, and it also had a huge gap between them.

The adjacent front teeth (lateral incisors) are peg-shaped which gave the unaesthethic look to his smile.

I examined his mouth and teeth condition, and noted that it wasn’t easy to do the veneers because of the way that he was biting.

After a more thorough examination and discussion, we agreed to do composite veneers for his four front teeth.

In a few hours, we managed to create this natural-looking veneers. He even knew how he wanted his teeth to be shaped like, so we adjusted the veneers according to the teeth shape that he preferred.

He smiled shyly and awkwardly at first because he wasn’t used to not having any gaps now, but after seeing himself in the mirror, he just smiled so widely and happily!
