FIXING A CHIPPED TOOTH : DR. DINI

Have you experienced this situation before? Or have you seen this kind of teeth on someone you know? Can it can be repaired? The answer is YES!!! Would it be a painful treatment? The answer is NO!!!. Will it be a long procedure? No. We usually take 30 minutes to build up the tooth back to its original shape.

This is the case for both of my patients. Hariz ( on the left ) chipped off his left central incisor when he tried to open a packet of chili sauce using his front tooth. He forgot that the tooth had been filled up years ago when he fell on the floor of swimming pool while vacationing with his family. He was 8 years old at that time and I was the one who filled up that tooth for him.

Mr. Aman ( on the right ) broke his right central incisor while having dinner with his family. He accidentally bit on a chicken bone and heard a crack sound from the upper tooth. He then realised that he chipped the front tooth.

Fortunately for both of them, there was no pain . It took me around 30 minutes to build up the tooth using composite resin material…. from choosing the right shade and sculpting the composite to make it look like a natural tooth again.
