Internal bleaching for root canal treated tooth! – Dr. Debbie
We all know a thing or two about teeth whitening/ bleaching treatment, but have you ever heard about internal bleaching before?
Internal bleaching is usually done on a tooth that has undergone root canal treatment but discoloured ( yellowish or greyish hue) . Specific bleaching agent will be placed temporarily into root canal treated tooth and to be reviewed every week until the desired shade is achieved.
Do not worry , it is perfectly safe under dentist supervision! this is the before and after :
Look good isn’t it? 🙂 Internal bleaching might not be permanent, hence it is advisable to get a full ceramic crown after internal bleaching as a more permanent solution. Do drop by our clinic for consultation if you would like to know more about internal bleaching! see you soon!
