Having a perfect smile, is a must for every bride and groom. The smile that portray happiness and joy in every picture that they take on their special day. Hence, a smile makeover often make a place in the bride’s and groom’s to-do-list.
This is the case for Amirah. Her wedding is this coming 28th August and she wanted to look beautiful on that day. She finally conquered her fear of dentist and visited us 2 weeks ago. Her request was simple. To have a dental makeover that will make her smile wide and confident on her special special day.
As you can see from the above picture, this was how Amirah’s teeth looks like when she stepped into my treatment room.Multiple discolored filling and also there was secondary caries underneath the existing filling. Amirah has been following our Instagram page for quite sometime and she’s also an avid reader of our blog, hence she knew what she wanted. “I think I need to do 6 unit composite veneers, right doctor?” she asked me. I smiled at her and nodded.
After full examination, I explained the procedure to Amirah. She fully understood the whole process of the treatment and gave me permission to start the treatment right away.
I started by removing all the old fillings, cleared and cleaned the current decay. Once the teeth is already cleaned and ready for the magic, I placed the resin composite on the tooth and sculpted it. In about 2.5 hours, I completed her treatment.
Her wide smile upon looking at her own reflection on a mirror that I handed to her, was a prove that she was happy with the treatment and finally her dream smile was achieved.
