It was indeed a very challenging case.
She has crooked upper teeth and wanted it to be straighter. This was how her upper front teeth looked like. Two teeth were slightly in and one tooth was a bit out of alignment.
Obviously I mentioned about orthodontic/braces treatment but she firmly said no to it. She was not willing to spend the time for the treatment and she also wanted a cheaper treatment options.
Well, it took me a while to do thorough check up and figuring out other options for her. I stressed to her that these options are not an ideal treatment options and she must really put extra effort in keeping the teeth clean and flossing is a must. I discussed all the other options and she chose to do composite veneers.
Doing composite veneers on crooked teeth like hers is really difficult. I just did 3 veneers but it took me 2 hours!!. There’s a lot of things to consider while doing the treatment and the most important one is to make sure that patient will be able to floss easily in between the teeth.
So, this is how she looks like after the composite veneers treatment. It does looks straighter right? She was soooo happy with the result and thanked me profusely.
I’ll be seeing her again for review and for other treatment and meanwhile hope she enjoy her new enhanced smile.
