Nurul Ashikin is Facebook friends with Haspah. Haspah had done a makeover in the clinic several months ago and when Shikin said she wanted one too, referred her to us.
Shikin checked out this blog and encouraged by Haspah, made the appointment to see us for a makeover for herself.
She came in yesterday with her husband Aidil.
“I have a tooth that is sticking out.” she said as I did the initial examination.
“This is quite easy to do, Shikin, but to make your smile look good, we need to do 4 teeth on your upper jaw. Only then I can balance the smile so it will look natural and straight.” I explained.
Shikin looked puzzled when I said that so I said, “No problem, let me show you what I mean with a mock-up.”
When Shikin saw what her smile could look like in the mock-up she was excited and gave me the green light to go ahead!
“It won’t be painful will it?” she asked. I shook my head and laughed.
“Do we have time to do it?”Aidil asked as they had come in a little late for their appointment.
“Not at all … It’ll take less than 60 minutes!” I said.
We ended up also restoring her lower tooth that was chipped badly and tilted outwards … after all she wanted a makeover so she’d have a smile she could be proud of!
When she saw the final results Shikin was smiling wide. “I can’t wait to show my sister this … she had done braces and always teased me for having a jutting out tooth! She’s going to be shocked I could do it in just one visit!”
We printed out the “Before” and “After” photos for her makeover album and gave it to her as a momento. “Wah! This is for me?” she said delighted.
Saying goodbye I reminded her to come back for the usual clean-up in 4 months.
This is why I love my job so much … I get to make people happy!
And I get to give them beautiful smiles
